At the age of 28, after a successful introduction into the sports marketing industry, Matthew established Trew Marketing in the summer of 2008. Matthew has a background of excellence both on the sporting field playing cricket, and off in various hospitality and customer service roles.
After completing his Business Management degree at the University of Queensland, Matthew became increasingly frustrated with the lack of opportunity in the workforce. A pecking order always seemed to be established no matter how well he performed, or out performed his co-workers.
After discovering the direct sports and event marketing industry, along with the opportunities that existed, he has never looked back. Matthew began at entry level and advanced to Managing Director within 2 years.
Matthew attributes his success to hard work and determination and a genuine passion and enjoyment for sports and the marketing and sales industry. His hunger and commitment to developing successful people around him has seen the company thrive and expand to where it is today.
